If asked to describe Saddle Mountain the first thing that comes to mind is a unique mountain to the southwest of Tonopah with the outline of a saddle. (when viewed from the southeast or the northwest.) This mountain is within approximately 50,000 acres of public land that is administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) with Arizona Game & Fish responsible for wildlife on the mountain.

FoSM encourages you to join in caring for this special place in our community. With the influx of winter visitors and recreationist enjoying the Mountain the past few years we are sure there is plenty of spots that may need attention . Please join us for a Mountain Side cleanup January 25, 2020 . We will meet at the corner of Salome & Courthouse Road at 10:00 am, wear sturdy shoes and a hat. FoSM will have water, gloves and trash bags . We hope to see a wonderful turnout.
